This past weekend I had a chance to go to my local farmers market. It has been sometime since I have been. Our family has had many activities these past few weekends. As you can see from above this farmer has all sorts of yummy vegetables for sale.
I just made the very end of the market day. In the early morning it is so full of people.
This vendor's company name is Daily Bread. They make the most delicious loaves of bread and rolls. Their bread is yummy!
a trip to the farmers market has always been one of my most favorite things. I love to stroll through the stands and I usually also end up buying something . . lol

I went to a farmers' market for the first time recently.
ReplyDeleteIt was an hour away so I am not sure when I can make it back again, but it sure was fun. I did not realise they would be selling so many ready to eat meals - takeaway foods and so on.
Your first photo of the fresh produce is so beautiful! It looks very delicious and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI was just telling my husband how I need to get to the local farmers market because summer is almost over!! We have a lot of roadside vegetable stands in my area that I have to stop at too! It is one of the many joys of summer...
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things to do. In the harvest months there's a farmer's market every day of the week, in one neighborhood or another. But we do have a very historic one that is open year round. The local chefs shop early in the morning for their "special of the day". In winter, the vendors have portable heaters and warm tents to sell their wares.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lot of fun!
