Since the kids are home for the summer it has been little hectic in our home. I am forever trying to get the kids to eat something nutritious as a snack. One simple recipe that has been a hit, to these super picky eaters is homemade granola. I usually have one child who doesn't like what I make, but not this time.
After surfing the net I stumbled upon this recipe. With a hint of Kosher salt that makes a great sweet and salty combination. Here is a link to the recipe.

Let me know what you think.
Enjoy!
Mechelle, looks good and health -- but I don't think your link is correct.
ReplyDeleteThe link works, Judy. I think I'll wait until the weather cools a bit, Mechelle... I so don't want to turn on the oven in our basement apt. this time of year! But it's certainly something I would love to try :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a very good recipe - granola is one of my favorite foods. I'll print this one off and put it together soon. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteProbably won't make granola for myself but I did want to tell you that I saw a clock (online) today that made me think of you. The clock face was a map and it was one of those flattened circles. I thought that was cool.
ReplyDeleteI love granola, but we call it mueslie round here. I like eating mine with yoghurt, or sprinkled on tinned peaches.
ReplyDeleteWow, yum! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love granola. Alas, I'm too lazy. LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great basic recipe - thanks for sharing.
