Giveaway Time

I wanted to start off the new year with a giveaway of one of my mini pillows. I really don't make resolutions, but I do have some goals that I hope to accomplish. Just leave a comment of one goal that you hope to pursue this year. I have two goals this year, the first is to have a mobile painting party business, the second is to have a one day creative workshop with a bunch of creative souls this year.

The winner will be announced this Friday.

A New Painting

The first picture I ever took as a child was of my dad drinking a cup of coffee. Over the years I have graduated to the older coffee makers my parents used to brew, to instant, then International Flavors, and now to our family Keurig. I especially enjoy the fancy flavored brew in the morning to jump start my day. I thought why not make a painting of my favorite drink. I am already making a clock and some magnets of this image. They will be available in my shop soon.

Happy New Year

I was looking in my library of pictures during the holiday season, and realized I had never made a product out of this bird in my shop. I am also working on a coffee cup clock as well. They will be available in my shop hopefully by the end of this week.

Christmas Lights

Last weekend the family was putting up all the decorations outside our home. What a delight to see all of the unique Christmas decorations of my neighbors, as I am driving back home. It is this time of year that we especially celebrate the Light of the world Jesus Christ. Hopefully our light will shine in us all throughout the year as believers. This is my Christmas prayer.

Christmas Gifts

I recently purchased some coasters from this shop for our home. After some thought of what to give neighbors, and possibly teachers as Christmas gifts. I decided why not try to make some coasters myself using decopauge and stamping. The first is an image of my painting using the decopauge method.

I stamped this coaster with blue using Stayz On.

This coaster is also decopauge of one of my doodles. All I have to do now is put the pads and seal them.

The winner of the art block is Jamifie! Congratulations.
