Imagekind Fine Art Prints
I found this great site on Natasha Westcoat's website called Imagekind. The site is owned by Cafepress but offers on demand prints on paper, posters and prints on canvas. The site features artist and photographers original work. I decided to give the site a try with my images. I am featuring my music themed pieces first and will be adding new images regularly. Come take a look at my gallery: mechelleharrison.imagekind.com

Barefoot in the Park
My daughther and I attended Barefoot in the Park festival last weekend that is held in downtown Duluth, Ga. Duluth is approximately 29 miles northeast of Atlanta. The show is something I am considering exhibiting in next year. The crowds were down this year due to other events going on in the area. If you live in the area or are visiting this is a great place for shopping in antiques stores, specialty shops, and quaint restaurants.
I stopped by the booth of one artist to chat about her work. The Artist is Julia Speer who makes incredible ceramic pieces of women. She is also an art teacher in the local school system. I unfortunately left my camera at home so I took pictures with my camera phone so please excuse the resolution. You can see more of her work at her website.

World of Whimsy
I was having a few problems with one of my disk drives that my technician i.e. husband had to fix. He still needs to get the computer fully working properly.
I wanted to share with you that I got together a few artist from 1000 Markets to compose a whimsical themed market within 1000 Markets. We have been in the planning stages for months, bouncing back many ideas. The last several weeks we have been putting together our market site and finally went live last week. Our market has artist, jewelry designers, paper products from graphic artist and even a cartoonist to name a few. We are continuing to add a few more people with our uplifting images. Be sure to come take a look at our site. Our tag line is " A Fanciful Way to Brighthen your Day"
