After many request from my older son I made this yummy New Orlean's favorite Po'Boy sandwich. You can use many different types of meat or seafood. The sandwich I made was made with shrimp. Here is a good recipe if you would like to try to make it. Enjoy!

Bread Pudding
Every Sunday I always try to make a special dessert for our family dinner. A few weeks ago I made this yummy bread pudding from my cookbook. I also made the New Orleans style sauce from a post on this site. I used rum flavor instead of real rum for the sauce. My family really enjoyed the dessert!

Shrimp Etouffee
My mom who is from New Orleans made this dish for some guest she had come visit her home. I decided to give it a try for my family for dinner. Since my mom doesn't follow a recipe, I looked up this dish from Emeril's recipe on Food Network that is pretty easy to make. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did!

Cake Anyone?
I wanted to show you the cake I made for the Superbowl Game. I also wanted to Congratulate the Saints on a great win. My mom who is originally from New Orleans, were calling each other back and forth during the end of the game in excitement. We were so happy that they won and wish them all the best!!
