Getting ready for July 4th

With the July 4th holiday fast approaching, I decided to make my very own decorations for my home. As you know I love making seasonal ornaments. Polymer clay is such a versatile medium to work with and doesn't require any special equipment to bake the clay. I just pop them in the oven, then paint and maybe add some embellishments then glaze.

Arts in the Park

I wanted to show you a few pictures from the Arts in the Park festival I helped with this past weekend. In spite that the weather was very hot, our arts organization did a great job hosting this event.

Baskets by Andi were so amazing to see all of the detail that goes into each basket of this husband and wife team.

Mauren King is the artist to make these very happy faces.

At the last hour of the show we enjoyed the music of ZydeFunk.

Whimsical Landscape Painting Workshop

After taking a couple of online courses, I decided to take the challenge to develop my very own ecourse. This has been an idea that I have been floating in my head for a few years. I quickly learned that it is not as easy as it looks. After my second attempt the class is almost ready to launch! I am very honored to be one of the instructors at Creative Workshops which is hosted by Gail Schmidt. The class will become available June 13th.
