Suwanee Farmer's Market

This past weekend kicked off the first farmer's market of the spring season at Suwanee Town Market. The is a highlight to my Saturday mornings in the summer! I have became friends with a few people over the past few years.

Some of my favorites are not here this season, but several new faces have joined the market.

Southern Essentials has wonderful natural soaps, lip balms, and lotions.

I like the fact that they rotate some of the vendors during the season. This keeps the market fresh and new by seeing different faces.

The farmer's market also has a smaller gathering of vendors on Tuesday evenings during the summer.

I look forward to feeding my family fresh locally grown food!

I love the local farmers markets, too. There is one in my small town. Opens Saturday's only, at the end of May and closes for the winter on Halloween Saturday. We also have what is called the Public Market. This one's big, has stalls covered by a roof, is open all year, is where local chefs get their raw materials. Oversight by the city as part of parks commission.

I also love local farmers' markets. Love the one in my hometown and love to visit all I can when I'm traveling. Also, there's nothing quite like a walk through Pike's Place market in Seattle:)

Waiting for warmer weather to go to the public market in the closest city to me. It is always cold there, even in the summer so it is wise to wait! It is fun to go throughout the summer.
