Dinner Time

For many years getting my kids to eat dinner has been a challenge. For years I tried to convince my two older children that French fries are in fact potatoes. They still didn't buy until two years ago. Now they love baked potatoes!

Well, a few weeks ago I came across a different way of baking potatoes. I thought this would be a great side for dinner.  Here is the recipe.

I also baked some salmon for the meal.

Here is picture of the complete meal. Everyone enjoyed it! Who knows what will work next time, but at least this one was a winner!

This looks like a way I used to do baked potatoes years ago... I had totally forgotten I used to that! They are also yummy like this is you put a little cheese in between each slice in the potato and bake that way. More fattenting, I'm sure... but yummy!

Those potatoes sound delicious and so easy! I love changing things up once in a while, especially boring foods like baked potatoes!

Just stopped by your blog today and this post sucked me in! Two of my favorite foods, salmon, and potatoes. I've never made potatoes that way but I'm definitely going to give it a try.
