Christmas Giveaway

I dropped off these little cuties off to a local gallery that carries my work. They will also be available in my shop later today. I decided to have a giveaway of one of my little guys to one of my lovely readers. So, if you want one of these little birds to fly to your home, just post a comment of what's your favorite thing about Christmas. I will announce the winner on Friday evening!

Oh Mechelle these are oh so adorable!!

Hmmm, my favorite thing about Christmas...my first response is that it does bring to my focus the amazing gift of grace that God provides, but it's also all the stuff that goes with it. The lights, the decorating, the smells, the gathering of family, the gifts. I love to give gifts. I can get too caught up in the doing of all that good stuff, that it no longer is good. So this year I am really trying to make it a bit simpler...but still enjoy the "celebration" of Jesus and all that goes with it.

Mechelle, your birdies are just so sweet.

My most favorite thing about Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I watched a show last night and actually His true birthtime was in the Spring but this is the day that the world has chosen to celebrate! Praise Him.
Next is the wondrous excitment on children's faces when they wake up on Christmas morning.♥

Love,
Sue

These are so, so cute!!

It is hard to pick a favorite thing about Christmas... it is all so wonderful. I would have to say just the feeling of the season warms my heart. There is that special magic in the air... that only comes from the TRUE meaning of Christmas!

They turned out lovely! You make such nice things!

I would have to say that my favorite thing about Christmas is sitting together and remembering the real reason for the Season! Every Christmas morning, before gifts, we read the story about the first and greatest Christmas gift, Jesus Christ. You know what's amazing...the gift God gave doesn't get old, wear out, break, go out of fashion and it's priceless! Who wouldn't be excited to receive a gift like that!

Thanks for this great giveaway! God bless!

My favorite thing about Christmas is watching the joy on my childrens' faces as they decorate the house for the coming of Jesus! This year, my 5 year old was soooo excited to get out the manger set! Priceless!!

Oh, they're so cute! Thank you for giving us the chance to win one. :)

My favorite thing about Christmas is decorating the tree with a glass of ice cold eggnog in hand and A Charlie Brown Christmas playing in the background. It's a tradition around here. ;)

My fav about Christmas, the birth of our savoir and the celebration we have at midnight service with a sea, NO - an ocean of lid real candles- if you look out in the congregation while we sing Silent Night.

My favorite thing about Christmas is hanging every handmade ornament on the tree that I've collected over the years, and cherishing the memories that go with each one. I have every little thing my girls made from preschool on up. The piece of egg crate ornament, the hand-print ornament, the popsicle stick and paper plate ornament. Each "baby's first Christmas" ornament. The crocheted star my dear grandmother made and gave me years ago before she passed away. Ornaments made by coworkers and friends over the years. Each one holding a special place in my heart. Some people wouldn't think these things are pretty on a Christmas tree; they don't match or have a united theme. Some are a bit tattered, others are... shall I say... tacky. But every year I hang each one and remember who gave it to me. They are my precious memories, and reminders of the love that came to the world the day Jesus was born!

How adorable!
My favorite thing about Christmas has to be the time we get to spend with family. I love the decorations, the lights, the food, and the fellowship... but most of all, remembering and celebrating the birth of our Savior!
