My Master Chef

Pretty much every Friday for our family is pizza night. Well, several weeks ago my son Jordan, who has been watching Food Network with me for years, decided he wanted to make a pizza from scratch. He printed out the recipe online and asked me to purchase some yeast for the dough.

We had to go through the process of letting the dough rise and knead the dough back down several times.  I really was unsure how long this was going to take since we had to go run an errand. My husband decided to purchase a pizza just in case this one didn't work out, but it turned out very well. The dough was very thick, but very tasty.

Jordan wants to become a chef when he grows up. He checks out cookbooks from the school library constantly with kid friendly recipes. Some of the recipes are some what complex. At times I'm thinking this is a little too advanced for me.

That is why I call him my little master chef.

Have a great weekend!
